Yes, it's far too late to be up blogging. It's 12:05 a.m. and I just finished cutting kits for a quilted placemat class I'm teaching tomorrow. They're really cute and will look good at Christmas.
Night All!
This is a "Little Bits" pattern by Cindi Edgerton. I didn't put the rick rac in but on another set I made, I did some decorative stitches in metallic gold - turned out great!

Go! Cutter
I am so glad to see Lavender Ridge is going to have a Go! draw. I've gotten my cutter but haven't had time to try it yet. I'm going to make a Christmas list that includes many of the dies as I have lots of ideas I'd like to try. I'm also going to look for other bloggers who like the Go! cutter - it's a whole new world out there! Go to lavenderridge.blogspot.com to enter the draw.
So, keep on quilting! Chat again soon.

Christmas Table Topper
Hi everyone. A quick update. Here is my latest creation. It's a great Christmas Table Topper quilted with metallic gold thread. I made one of these from Autumn fabrics also and sold out all the kits I had. I've just had to order a second lot of fabrics for the Christmas version. It was a great project to practice mitered borders. Better go now - have lots of projects on my list.

Home Again
Well, here I am, home again. We had a wonderful holiday but now back at it. We went to some wonderful quilt shops so my stash is building and building. I have to mention one of those shops - it's called The Door Mouse in Bettsville, Ohio - can you imagine - over 15,000 bolts of fabric. Talk about kids in a candy shop - it was great! If you're ever in the area, make sure you visit this store. Better go now - have some cutting to do.

My First Blog
Hello Fellow Quilters
Well, here it is, my first blog. Thanks for joining me as I set out on my new adventure in technology.....who'd a thunk, a granny like me blogging away like a teenager....LOL (that means Laughing out loud)! So, what should I blog about? Of course, quilting....really, is there anything else to blog about?
Let me start out by telling you I'm not even at home, I'm in Kentucky, so that makes me a travelling blogger. You might be wondering what the heck is she doing in Kentucky? Well, I initially came to visit my daughter, but now, it's turned into a quilt shopping trip....is anyone surprised? The quilt shops here are wonderful....bolts upon bolts upon bolts of fabric. Even though I was only going to look and wasn't going to buy, the old Visa is already starting to warm up. Yesterday we shopped in Louisville, KY, today we went across the river to Salem, Indianna where we found a great shop out in the middle of nowhere. They had some really nice fabrics, lots of notions, and even a cat with no tail.
Since this is my first "blog", and I'm just learning how to use this website, I'm going to sign off for now and go play with some options. Feel free to post a comment, and follow along for future updates.
